Cardiac Rehabilitation
University Heart’s enhanced exercise and education program helps patients impacted by heart disease to recover more quickly and to improve physically, mentally, and socially. The cardiac rehabilitation program begins with intensive instruction and exercise assessment before patients are released from University Hospital. Rehabilitation continues with outpatient services at the University Physicians – Northeast Jackson offices at Select Specialty Hospital.
The rehabilitation program accepts referrals for patients who have undergone heart, stent, or valve replacement procedures at any other medical facility. For more information, have your physician contact our program coordinator.
